Vanadium is the refining grain in structural alloy steel to increase the strength and flexibility of steel.
Vanadium is mixed with chromium and manganese in spring steel to increase the flexibility limit of
steel and improve its quality. Vanadium mainly refines the structure and grain of steel to increase the
stability of tempering steel to reinforcing secondary hardening and improve its abrasion resistance
to prolong its service life. Vanadium plays a helpful role in heat resistant steel and antihydrogen steel.

(1) Ferrosilicon is often used as deoxidizer in steel- making.
(2) Ferrosilicon also can be used as alloy elements join agent, which is widely used in low alloy
steel, non-ferrous metal, bearing steel, heat-resistant steels and electrician silicon-steel.
(3) Ferrosilicon commonly used as a reductant in ferroalloy production and chemical industry.
(4) In iron industry it often used as inoculant and nodulizer and deoxidize.
