Properties:
White cubic crystal or white powder. The relative density of 4.14. Melting point 430 °C. Boiling
point 1490 °C. Slightly soluble in water, soluble in concentrated hydrochloric acid and ammonia to
generate complex, insoluble in ethanol. Catalysts for organic synthesis, and used paint, corrosion
and other industries.
Easily oxidized in air exposed to the high price of copper green, see the light is broken down into
brown. Stable in dry air, moisture is variable blue to brown. Melting was iron gray, exposed in
air rapidly oxidized to basic salt, green. Case of light brown. Rapidly hydrolyzed in hot water
and red copper oxide hydrate, acid case slow response.
Use: Used as organic synthesis catalyst and in pigment and anti-corrosion industry.
